The School of Insurance has eventually formed distinctive feature as “attaching great importance to the interdisciplinarity, strengthening the fundamental deposit and giving priority to the application aspect” since its establishment. Attaching great importance to the interdisciplinarity means the intersection of economics and mathematical statistics based on Insurance. Strengthening the fundamental deposit means to lay a solid foundation for Economics and Mathematical Statistics. Giving priority to the application aspect emphasizes the improvement of students' practice ability and social adaptability through open education and internships. Major courses teaching sticks to the basic principle of “wide scope, solid foundation, refining specialty theory, and valuing social practice”. We adjust and improve the curriculum system construction based on the current talent demand in insurance market, and apply the latest research results to teaching, so that both theoretical teaching and practice tutoring be consolidated.
